A MESSAGE FROM PETE

As a lifelong resident of St. Martin Parish, I cannot only say this is my home, but this is who I am.  The people and culture of this great parish over the past 65 years have given me a love and concern for the future of this place we call home.  Having lived and worked here my entire life, I can proudly say that "I have skin in this game and a dog in this fight."

I was asked what made me decide to enter this race at this time in my life.  The answer is simple. You can sit on the sidelines and complain or step up and become a part of the solution.  I choose the latter.

Never forget, this parish is what it is because of us, it's people.  Every city, every town, every village, every community, every single household.  This is what makes us strong.  This is what makes us who we are.  This is what makes our parish what it is.

We have had excellent leadership and direction in our parish in previous administrations with the results being evident.  I feel a strong and confident leader is needed to continue this direction.  Someone with the dedication and commitment to do the right thing and make the tough decisions - to move this parish forward in the upcoming years.  I truly believe I am that person, but I need your help to fulfill it.

I thank you in advance for the support you have given and will continue to give me.  I thank you for your prayers and look forward to meeting with you and talking with you, but most importantly, listening to you in the months to come.

From me and my family,

Thank you and God Bless.
